Obituary for Glen Morgan Webster

Glen Morgan Webster, age 75, husband of Lorie Webster passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at Baptist Health Lexington following a brief illness. He was born on September 22, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Clarence, Sr. and Alta May MacDonald Webster. He attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Mr. Webster was a Missionary Baptist Preacher and began preaching at the age of 15, his mission in life was to lead others to the saving grace of Jesus Christ! An avid student of God’s word he was a Godly man and led by example, his favorite gift to give was the Bible with a handwritten note of encouragement tucked inside. He loved life, traveling and meeting new people never meeting a stranger he was always ready to help and comfort others. Mr. Webster never turned away from a challenge and raised his children to never use the word can’t, with God grit and determination you can succeed at what you set out to do.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Glen Webster, and his siblings, Clarence, Jr., Frank, Tom, Dimple Jean, Louise and Frances.
Surviving are his wife, Lorie Webster of Berea, KY his daughter, Rebecca Lynn (David Allen) Slapyznski of MaComb, MI. and ten grandchildren, Jacob Christopher Patterson, Blake Morgan Webster, Sadie Silcox, Leo Silcox, J.J. Silcox, Joshua Silcox, Kevin Slapyznski, David Slapyznski, Megann Gray, and Amanda Slapyznski.
A celebration of Mr. Webster’s life will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church located at 5555 14-mile road Sterling Heights, Michigan with Bro. Rick Vinson officiating.
