Obituary for Rev. Ed Johns

Rev. Ed Johns, age 89, widower of Clara Ann Fugate Johns, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington. Mr. Johns was born August 25, 1929 to the late Durbert Emmitt and Lola Mae Tackett Johns, in Madison County, KY. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved going to church, loved the Lord, and loved to take Clara fishing. Mr. Johns was a member of the Narrow Way Church of God in Jesus Name.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by three sons, Eddie, Mason, Donald, and a granddaughter.
Mr. Johns is survived by his children, Joyce Parson and her husband Melvin of Berea, Ky., Ronald Johns and his wife Margie of Lexington, Ky., Billy Johns and his wife Katie of Winchester, Ky., Linda Fields and her husband Keith of Lexington, Ky., Wayne Johns and his wife Erica of Berea, Ky., Jeffery Johns and his wife Annette of Stanton, Ky., twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
