Obituary for Darrell Cain

Darrell Cain, age 69, widower of Myrtle Bee Rader Cain died Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. He was born March 7, 1948 in Berea, KY., to the late Everett and Lucy Marie Alexander Cain. Mr. Cain was a member of the Paint Lick Christian Church, loved to hunt ginseng, treasure hunt with his metal detector, hunt, fish, and trap.
Other than his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tressie Marie Cain Cowell and 2 brothers, Edward Lee, and E.B. Cain.
Mr. Cain is survived by his son, Virgle Ray Cain of Berea, KY., 4 sisters, Faye Cain Miller, Evelyn Cain Tuttle, and Joyce Lynn Cain all of Berea, KY., and Wanda Sue Cain Manhanke of Saint Louis, Missouri. 3 grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Cowell, Kevin Darrell Cain, and Kristie Lynn Cain and 5 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Powell and Rev. Chris Cobb officiating, burial will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Virgle Cain, Kevin Cain, Lewis Miller, Preston Miller, Leonard Miller, Wayne Miller, Mike Manhanke, and Ray Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be; Larry Agee, Jason Oliver, Tommy Burnham, Mason Rollins, Terry Gortney, and Charlie Gruen. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until services on Thursday.
